OUR LOFTY AMBITION

TOGETHER

Lofty Ambitions Canada – Our Story

My name is Jodie Lofts, and Lofty Ambitions Canada grew from a simple idea that refused to stay small: create beautiful, useful things and let them do good in the world.

For years, I’ve been someone who loves making—sewing, quilting, experimenting with fabrics, and finding joy in the details. But I’m also someone who believes deeply in community. Lofty Ambitions became the place where those two parts of my life finally met. I opened my shop with one guiding principle: every product should bring comfort to someone, and every purchase should help someone else.

What started as a handful of handmade items has grown into a collection of one‑of‑a‑kind pieces, each crafted with intention.

🧵 Crafting Comfort

One of my signature creations is a line of small lap blankets, designed especially for people who sit for long periods or use wheelchairs. They’re lightweight, cozy, and thoughtfully sized so they don’t get tangled in wheels or bunch up. Many are rag‑quilted for softness and texture, and each one includes a front pocket—perfect for warming your hands or holding small essentials. These blankets are more than fabric; they’re comfort, dignity, and warmth in a form that’s easy to carry and easy to love.

👜 Bags With Purpose

The other half of my shop is dedicated to something I’ve always adored: bags. Totes, crossbodies, wristlets, cosmetic bags, coin purses—each one has its own personality and purpose. I love designing bags that feel both practical and joyful, the kind you reach for every day because they simply make life easier. Every bag is unique, and many are made from limited fabrics or reclaimed materials, giving them a story all their own.

💛 Why It Matters

When you purchase something from Lofty Ambitions Canada, you’re not just buying a handmade item. You’re supporting programs and organizations that help people in meaningful ways. Your gift—whether for yourself or someone you love—ripples outward into the community.

This business is my way of giving back, one stitch at a time. And I’m grateful for every person who chooses to be part of that story.
